我等啊等，终于等到了过春节的那一天。天刚黑下来，我们就开始了“包饺子行动”。外公外婆和舅舅很辛苦地和好面、剁好陷，然后我们就在客厅包起了饺子。我一边包一边说：“我包，我包，我包包包，我要把饺子包成包子。”外公外婆都被我逗笑了，但我果然包了个“巨型包子饺”，舅舅说：“这个‘巨型包子饺’就归你了！”我于是又给每个人都包了一个。
看春节晚会的时候，我们一边包、一边煮、一边吃、一边看，真是其乐融融啊。
吃完饺子，我和舅舅叫上邻居妞妞姐姐一起放烟花，灿烂的烟花在漆黑的天空一朵朵开放，真美呀，我真是大开了眼界。

一到老家，先看到热情淳朴的老家乡亲们对我们可热情了，家家户户都在门上面贴着红红的对联，家里面都煮着热腾腾的水饺，孩子们在外面放着鞭炮，村里的演出队在大街上敲着鼓，舞着龙，欢庆春节的到来，到处洋溢着欢声笑语，鸟儿也飞到了枝头上，叽叽喳喳的唱着歌儿，仿佛在欢庆着我们的到来。
家乡的变化可大了，晚上是老家的一个堂伯伯请我们去他家作客吃饭，一到他家里，我差点叫了出来，啊，变化可真大啊，原来还是普通的瓦房，现在竟然都变成了大理石瓷砖的小洋楼，客厅的黑白电视也变成了可以点播的液晶大屏幕电视，挂在墙壁上的空调也呼呼的吹着热风，大家都穿着五颜六色的流行衣服，晚餐开始了，烤鸡、烧鸭样样齐全，可丰富了，大家都围在桌子上喜气洋洋地吃着年夜饭，谈论着家常事，外面的'礼花五彩缤纷，鞭炮声都快把耳朵震聋了，孩子们在院子里欢呼着放鞭炮，一个点火，一个看着，个个玩的不亦乐乎，整个村子仿佛都变成了欢乐的海洋，乡亲们就这样一直热闹到了深夜。
