首先，学习语言，没有比背诵更好的方法了
作文一出生就是用来背的，背完后默写，修改，然后再接着背，接着默写，修改。我们学汉语学得这么溜的原因就是我们的脑子里有大量的文字性的片段和短语词汇之类的积累，想想你小时候语文老师教你背下来那些好词好段的用意，套用在英语上也能奏效，学习语言，没有比背诵更好的方法了。请16级备考的的童鞋们背完作文后务必要默写，然后对着原文一丝不苟的修改。另外，有一种“记住”叫做“你觉得你记住了”，别以为你背出来的就是原文，真写一遍你就知道你照葫芦画出来的究竟是瓢还是葫芦。
其次，学会活用模板，注重素材的积累，同时要适当加入自己的内容
我们在初练写作的时候套用模板是正常的事情，也是一个必经的过程，只有先试用别人的东西，才能学习和积累写作素材。模板要活学活用，不要一字不差的照抄无误，而是要根据自己所要表达的内容进行更改。写作不一定要字字句句都是难词，长句，而是要学会运用一些常见词的常见短语去表达，这样才能真正显示写作的水平。这就要求学生在平时的学习中注意积累常用的短语或者词组，以备写作之用。

小作文在考研英语的试卷中占据了10%的比例，相对于大作文，小作文比较格式化、比较套路化，相对而言，在这部分广大考生更容易得分。那么如何在这部分取得高分呢?考研辅导专家们提示广大20的考生必须在三个方面做好工作，格式、语言点的分布等。
称呼：如果写给不认识的人：dear sir or madam, to whom it may concern. 写给认识或熟悉的`人：性别+姓：dear mr. wang, 性别+职务：dear mr./ms. president.职务+姓名：dear president wang.
